Theater Alumnus Brendan Fraser in Blockbuster Hits

Cornish Alumnus Brendan Fraser (TH ’90) was featured in two blockbuster releases this past summer, 3-D Journey to the Center of the Earth, and The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor.

In The Mummy Fraser, who has become highly sought after actor in the world of CGI filming, plays Rick O’Connell, who must pit his survival skills against a ruthless emperor (played by Jet Li). Fraser’s character shifts a bit in Journey to the Center of the Earth where he plays Professor Trevor Anderson who, while on a quest to find out what happened to his missing brother, happens upon a fantastic and dangerous lost world in the center of the earth.

Fraser has been seen in more than 30 screen appearances including George of the Jungle, Blast from the Past, Bedazzled, and Gods and Monsters, among others.
