On Sunday, April 2nd Cornish students, staff, faculty and friends will participate, along with 6,000 others, in the MS LifeLines MS Walk to raise money for multiple sclerosis.
Last year the MS Walk, one of more than 650 held nationwide to benefit the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, raised $1.3 million. Forty percent of the proceeds raised through the MS Walk are allocated to national research to find the cause and cure of multiple sclerosis, and sixty percent fund local services for the 50,000 people affected by MS in Western and Central Washington.
If you are interested in joining the Cornish team to help the lives of people with MS in our community, please register for our team, the Cornish Game Hens, by going to www.nationalmssociety.org/was or call 1-800-FIGHT-MS. The suggested donation is $50. For more information, contact Megan Kennedy, Wellness Program Coordinator, at (206) 726-5156 or email .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address). Thank you in advance for your generous support!
