Nearly 100 Cornish alumni, faculty and staff from all disciplines and generations gathered at the home and studio of Steve Jensen (Art '82) for the 3rd annual Cornish Alumni Reception on March 21 in Seattle. Guests enjoyed the inspiring backdrop of Jensen's studio and home giving everyone an opportunity to enjoy the artwork of this internationally known Cornish alum. Chris Blacker (Music '04) played the piano as alumni mingled and reunited with one another.
The event also provided an opportunity to announce the exciting news that Cornish will host an exhibit of Steve Jensen's Voyage Series in September 2007. The exhibit will include 48 pieces from the Voyage Series that will be for sale with 100% of the proceeds benefiting Cornish. We deeply appreciate Steve's generosity and commitment to Cornish. Details about the exhibition will be included in upcoming e-newsletters.
