Artist-In-Residence Ann Hampton Callaway

Cornish College of the Arts is proud to welcome internationally-acclaimed singer, composer and pianist Ann Hampton Callaway to campus October 31 - November 5 for an intensive residency with the Music Department. The residency will include rehearsals with student singers and ensembles and a vocal master class that is free and open to the public.

Ann Hampton CallawayAnn Hampton Callaway has become a favorite in the concert circuit and has sung with many of the nation's top jazz musicians, orchestras and big bands. She has performed for President Clinton in Washington D.C. and was the invited guest performer for President Gorbachev's Youth Peace Summit in Moscow. Additionally, Callaway has been seen on The Today Show, CNN's Larry King Live, The Charlie Rose Show, The Oprah Winfrey Show, The Rosie O'Donnell Show, ABC News and on numerous PBS programs. She is known for starring in the hit Broadway musical Swing! Callaway is also a talented songwriter & her music and lyrics have been performed and recorded by Barbara Streisand, Liza Minnelli, Patti Lupone, Michael Feinstein, and many other artists.
