Margie Pos

Associate Professor, Bass, Musicianship

As a jazz bassist Margie Pos has performed and given clinics in Italy, Costa Rica, and Canada, as well as throughout the United States. She has performed with John Medeski, Danilo Perez, Gary Versace, Bob Moses, George Garzone, Larry Baione, and Alan Dawson. Prior to teaching at Cornish, Pos taught on the faculty of Berklee College of Music in Boston. She holds degrees from both Berklee College (B.M. in Composition) and the New England Conservatory of Music (M.M. in Jazz Studies).
