She is the founder (in 2000) and Artistic Director of Seattle Early Dance, which specializes in recreating dances from the sixteenth through eighteenth century European courts. The company has performed with many prestigious music ensembles, including Seattle Symphony, Seattle Baroque Orchestra and Pacific Musicworks. Anna also directs early opera. Her credits include Rappresentatione di Anima et di Corpo (1600) by Emilio De’ Cavalieri and The Indian Queen (1695) by Henry Purcell. Most recently she directed and choreographed La liberazione di Ruggiero dall’isola d’Alcina (1625) by Francesca Caccini and choreographed Venus and Adonis (1684) by John Blow for the Cornish Opera Theater.
