Director of Library Services
Directs the operations of campus library services. Responsible for collection development, database licenses, library planning and assessment. Administers the online library system and online research databases. Available for reference and research questions as well as library and research instruction.
Hollis received her Master of Library and Information Science degree from the University of Washington and BA in Music from Antioch College in Yellow Springs, Ohio with an emphasis in music history and voice. Attended the ACRL/Harvard Leadership Institute for Academic Librarians, Harvard Institutes for Higher Education, 2005. She belongs to the American Library Association, the Association of College and Research Libraries, and is active in the local chapters of the Music Library Association and the Art Libraries Society of North America.
Reference and Instruction Librarian
Provides reference service and research instruction. Responsible for interlibrary loan. Assists with collection development and title selection. Available for reference and research questions.
Megan received her Master of Library and Information Science degree from the University of Washington. She also earned an MFA in Dramaturgy from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst and graduated from the University of Scranton with a BA in English and Philosophy. She belongs to the Theater Library Association.
Visual Arts Librarian
Provides reference service and research instruction. Manages the use and development of the Image Collections. Maintains the image, print and art collection databases, oversees image production, and coordinates the burgeoning college archive. Supervises student assistants. Available for reference and research questions.
Bridget received her Master of Library and Information Science degree from the University of Washington where she also earned an MA in Museology, with an Art and Art Education focus. She has a BA in Art, with a Photography focus, from the University of Nevada, Reno, and has exhibited her photography in Washington, California and Nevada. Bridget also teaches on occasion for the Photographic Center Northwest and is the Registrar for the Monsen Collection. She belongs to the Visual Resources Association, the Society for Photographic Education and the Art Libraries Society of North America.
Manages the daily operation of circulation services and supervises library student assistants. Handles patron library accounts, overdues, billing, and class reserves, AV equipment coordination and stacks maintenance.
Catalogs books, scores, sound recordings and videos and manages serials/periodicals check in. Orders and receives new acquisitions; processes library materials; and provides backup for the circulation desk.
Pamela received her AAS Library Technician degree from Highline Community College. In addition she completed one year of music studies at the University of Washington and an extra year of personal enrichment courses at HCC. She worked over four years as a cataloger for the Seattle Community College Library System before coming to Cornish.
