Patricia Russell

Dr. Russell received her Psy. D., in clinical psychology from Antioch University Seattle.  She has had over 20 years of multi-cultural and community based experience, ranging from teaching to family therapy and community based advocacy.  Among her areas of expertise are working therapeutically with diverse individuals and communities to heal past traumas, cultural and anti-bias education, family therapy, substance abuse awareness and counseling, and youth and family services.  Her past experiences include serving as the Director of Health & Mental Health Services at First Place School, serving families and children who are or at risk of becoming homeless, Director of Adult Basic Education Programs at Seattle Goodwill Industries, Program Management Director at the Central Area Motivation Program, the Director of The Ready for Life Connection (REFLECT) which included teaching basic life skill classes for mothers receiving public assistance, and at Seattle Emergency Housing Summer Youth Entrepreneurial Program, as a volunteer assistant instructor and lead instructor as well as conducting student assessments. She has served as the Student Dean at Antioch University Seattle, where she also was an adjunct instructor.
