C.T. Mexica is a doctoral candidate in comparative literature (University of Washington). Regionally, his research concerns the borderlands (Northern Mexico & U.S. Southwest) and, more broadly, Literature of the Americas. Other areas of literary and cinematic research concern: narco culture, violence (state and armed actors), transamerican studies, intellectual history, and evolutionary psychology.
