Amanda Hill

Amanda Hill received her M.A. in English with an emphasis in Rhetoric and Composition at Western Washington University where she received the Marjory Rivverun Award for Teaching Excellence. Amanda’s scholarship focuses on the intersections between digital media studies, writing, and rhetoric and she regularly presents papers at local and national writing teacher conferences. Through reading of print, digital and video texts, discussion, and personalized writing projects, Amanda’s classes invite students to explore how writing on the page or screen enriches their life and work as artists. In addition to teaching writing, Amanda is Coordinator of the Cornish Writing Center.  In both one-on-one tutoring and in the classroom, Amanda most enjoys reading Cornish writers’ work and finding ways to help them achieve their writing goals.
