Work Study Residency Classification Information
For a student to be classified as a "resident" for work study purposes, he or she must:
- Have established a bona fide domicile in the state of Washington primarily for purposes other than educational for the period of one year immediately prior to commencement of the first day of the semester for which he or she has registered at any institution, and
- Be considered financially independent (not required to provide parent information on the FAFSA), or
- Be a dependent student, whose parent(s) or legal guardian(s) has maintained a bona fide domicile in the state of Washington for at least one year immediately prior to the commencement of the semester for which the student has registered at any institution.

~Maintain proper desk atmosphere/etiquette by providing quality service to residents, staff and guests ~Use professional and appropriate written and verbal communication with housing personnel and students at all times ~Establish positive and open lines of communication with fellow Desk Assistants and Housing & Residence Life staff ~Use proper telephone etiquette to take messages and transfer telephone calls promptly ~Communicate problems, questions, concerns and suggestions to immediate supervisor ~Maintain strict privacy with student files and hall information ~Assist in the administration of keycards, mail services/distribution and equipment check-out and check-in ~Manage cash box and maintain inventories accurately, write receipts and submit deposits to supervisor ~Expect to assist in responding to emergency situations ~Other duties as assigned by supervisor
Qualifications:

Teach small groups of elementary students how to sew, knit, crochet, make jewelry or create simple woodworking projects at local schools.
Qualifications:
Knowledge of the craft to be taught is required. Must be able to provide own transportation to Edmonds once a week for supply pick-up and to the school(s) where your classes will be held. Some availability between 3:00 and 5:00, Mondays through Thursdays. Previous experience working with children preferred. Gain experience with hand and power tools as you assist the lead carpenter with demolition, rough framing, staging, window/door installation, painting, tiling and trim work. Develop basic and finish carpentry skills in a professional environment.
Qualifications:

Junior or Senior Interior Design student needed to maintain order in a small, local interior design office and library. Responsibilities include researching materials, drafting, filing, errands, reception for clients and support of senior designers.
Qualifications:
