How to Apply

  1. Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
    • The school code for Cornish College of the Arts is 012315.
    • You and your parents will need a PIN number to electronically sign your FAFSA. Visit www.pin.ed.gov to apply for your PIN numbers.
    If you have not been selected for verification by the Department of Education the Office of Financial Aid will mail your Award Letter beginning early April.

After you receive your award letter

Please note that the following list of lenders is provided as a service to student and parent borrowers. Inclusion of lenders in the list below signifies that the lenders submitted information to Cornish in connection with services and borrower benefits they provide.

Borrowers are encouraged to visit lender websites and compare benefits and services offered. Borrowers can apply with any lender that participates in the Federal and/or Private Educational Loan Programs, including any lender not on this list. Cornish will accept loans from the lender you select. (Information provided by the lenders below will soon be accessible from this page and will appear in the Financial Aid FAQ section).

  1. 2008-2009 - Apply for a student Stafford loan or parent PLUS loan online using FAFSA PIN as e-signature starting April 1, 2008: If you experience technical or processing difficulty or need a Master Promissory Note, please contact your selected lender by phone.

After completing all the steps above

  1. Complete the Acceptance of Loan(s) form below. The Office of Financial Aid cannot release any funds into your tuition account until all requested documents are received, including this form.
