Cornish looks to the future: Core Sample, an exhibition of first year student work, opens, reception Thursday April 18.
Here’s the public’s first look at the talent of the first year class studying in the Art Department at Cornish. The freshman exhibition, Core Sample features a wide range of work, including painting, video, photography, mixed-media, installation, and performance. A stripping fluffy bunny in a booth, chairs hung on the wall, plexiglass and light, and even some paintings: there’s a lot to see at this year’s freshman exhibition. Core Sample is on now in the Main Gallery, 1st floor Main Campus Center, 1000 Terry.
The exhibit’s reception will be this Thursday from 5-7pm. Come down and see what the freshman art students have been up to.
Core Sample, is open at noon every day through April 19. The fluffy bunny works the booth at 12:15!
