Directed by Amy Poisson
Falls Theatre
This rock ‘n roll story is inspired by women musicians in Seattle during the famed grunge years. An original piece of theatre based on over 40 interviews with the people who lived it, These Streets is a gritty, funny, and powerful fictional story where the characters' past and present lives collide with their past and present music, played and sung by the performers and a live band.
*Show contains loud music, adult language and situations and is suitable for ages 14+
Created by Stranger Genius Award winner, theatre maker and actress Sarah Rudinoff; rock musician, teacher and composer Gretta Harley; and playwright and performer Elizabeth Kenny (Sick). Directed by Amy Poisson (Annex Theatre, Seattle Children's Theatre, Seattle Public). With music by: 66 Saints, 7 Year Bitch, Bell, Capping Day, Danger Gens, Faster Tiger, Flood, The Gits, Hammerbox, Incredible Force of Junior, Kristen Barry, Maxi Badd and more.
Stop by The Project Room every Thursday from 6:00pm-7:00pm, Feb 21 - Mar 7, for a special pre-show event featuring the musicians who inspired These Streets.
