As an artist I consider my work to be a blending point between Eastern and Western cultures.
I was born into the desert and grew there with an old Japanese farm family, but I was raised
by the western sea and its cities. Continually, I have been pulled from side to side, but
I refuse to isolate these parts into halves. With illustration, I attempt to design for emotional
and nostalgic quality. By drawing from multiple cultures and their aesthetic roots, I am able to
create a new individual voice.
