My project unifies Western style with Eastern ideology. By enhancing Chinese Mythology with personal interpretations, I have created a trans-cultural experience. Being a native Chinese, I have the desire to share with the world the ancient legends I have been told throughout my life. I have designed the project to feature a series of paintings based on significant selections from Chinese Mythology, such as the creation myth. The series aims to embrace modern day styles and design elements from the ancient time to create a unity of new and old.
