As an interior designer I am faced with an array of different personality types, ages, backgrounds, occupations, likes and dislikes. This is exactly what makes this profession so exciting. Each job can vary so drastically depending on the client. A high-rise office building, an apartment building, a house. We view them as a whole, a shell. In reality, each floor of that high-rise office building is distinct due to the type of business, each unit of that apartment building is drastically different regarding the tenant, and the family living in the house make it their home.
It is important to me as a designer to create interiors that are simple, yet unique, so those who occupy them can make it their own. I am drawn to natural materials, light and open spaces, and I combine each of these elements into my designs. It is my goal to leave an environment that is inspiring for the occupant to customize.
