Nathan Winkel (DE ‘05)

Nathan recently completed his Masters of Applied Arts in Design at Emily Carr Institute of Art and Design in Vancouver, BC. He has since been recruited by Roche Diagnostics in Palo Alto, CA, as a communication and interaction design consultant for a team of engineers. Nathan's team at Roche is also working with a local university's internship program, and will help coach about ten 10 industrial design students durinf the summer of 2008.

Andi Rusu (DE ‘92)

Andi presented a session and judged a design competition at Portland's WebVisions 2008, a conference exploring the future of Web design, user experience and business strategy. Andi's lecture, "Designing for Video Game Marketing," will discuss the challenges, opportunities and specific workflows associated with designing high-bandwidth, high-traffic, high-interactivity Web sites.

Clayton Whitman (DE ‘04)

Clayton moved from Callison Seattle to the firm's Manhattan office in November of 2007, and is working as an interior designer on high end retail and media.

Dustin Dis (DE ‘97)

In April 2008, Dustin was offered a position designing eyeglass frames with Theo, an eyewear manufacturer based in Antwerp, Belgium. Adidas also recently opened a Y-3 (Yohji Yamamoto/Adidas) boutique in the Meat Packing District of New York, which was modeled on the prototype design Dustin created for their Tokyo flagship store.

Carol Thomas (DE ‘85)

Carol Thomas (DE '85) is Cultural Arts Manager with the City of Everett, overseeing Everett's Municipal Arts Collection, 1% for Arts projects, rotating sculpture exhibitions, community festivals, and summer Music in the Parks series.
