Amelia Zirin-Brown (TH ‘99)
In early 2008, Amelia recorded "This Little Light of Mine" with Grammy-winning cellist Yo-Yo Ma for his newest CD, Songs of Joy & Peace: Yo-Yo Ma and Friends. Also joining Ma on the album are Diana Krall, James Taylor, Renee Flemming, Alison Kraus, and Dave Brubeck.
Zack Bunker (PP ‘01)
Zack is currently working on the scenic design for an upcoming feature film version of
Alice in Wonderland for Disney. He also worked in the art departments of James Cameron's
Avatar and Bob Zemeckis's
A Christmas Carol, both slated for release in late 2009.
Dante Smith (PP ‘06)
Dante will be starting her graduate degree program in Fall 2008 at NYU's Tisch School of the Arts.
Joshua Conkel (TH ‘03)
Joshua's newest play,
The Chalk Boy, received rave reviews at the Washington, DC, Fringe Festival, and opens in New York (featuring Kate Huisentruit, TH '01) and LA simultaneously on September 4th, 2008. Joshua also recently starred in a sitcom pilot entitled
Bad Apple.
Ria Brodell (AR ‘02)
Ria was the recipient of a 2008 Emerging Artist Award from the St. Botolph Club Foundation, which honors individuals at an early stage in their careers through the combination of financial support, recognition, and endorsement.
