Paul McKee (AR ‘00)
Paul presented his MFA thesis installation,
Trophies of the American Home, at Wichita State University in May 2008. His large-scale exhibition highlights his graduate studies on the ideas of home and place and their impact on his lifestyle as a gay man as well as their relation to society as a whole.
Jeff Sims (AR ‘97)
Jeff participated in the February and March 2008 group show,
Garveyism, at New York's non-profit Rush Arts Gallery.
Elaine Masters (TH ‘87)
Elaine is a registered yoga teacher and author of the
Drivetime Yoga series books and CDs, which won a National Indie Excellence Award and will be featured at Book Expo America 2008 in Los Angeles. She currently uses her Cornish theater skills to teach the Drivetime Yoga system to businesses and commuters, and is creating other products to continue bringing "the heart of yoga along for the ride."
Andi Rusu (DE ‘92)
Andi presented a session and judged a design competition at Portland's WebVisions 2008, a conference exploring the future of Web design, user experience and business strategy. Andi's lecture, "Designing for Video Game Marketing," will discuss the challenges, opportunities and specific workflows associated with designing high-bandwidth, high-traffic, high-interactivity Web sites.
