Nathan Winkel (DE ‘05)

Nathan recently completed his Masters of Applied Arts in Design at Emily Carr Institute of Art and Design in Vancouver, BC. He has since been recruited by Roche Diagnostics in Palo Alto, CA, as a communication and interaction design consultant for a team of engineers. Nathan's team at Roche is also working with a local university's internship program, and will help coach about ten 10 industrial design students durinf the summer of 2008.

Shawn Nordfors (AR ‘98) and Julie Lindell (AR ‘80-83)

Shawn and Julie have been selected by Artist Trust to participate in the 2008 EDGE Professional Development Program. EDGE offers artists a comprehensive survey of professional practices through a hands-on, interactive curriculum that includes instruction by professionals in the field, specialized presentations, panel discussions, site visits and assignments.

Pinky Estell (PP ‘07)

Pinky lives in San Francisco, where he works as an Assistant Warehouse Manager for a production company called Da Vinci Fusion. He also works freelance for many Bay Area theaters, and plans to pursue graduate school in Performance Production in the next few years.

Beth Cooper (TH ‘85)

Beth co-directed Doug Wright's award-winning play I Am My Own Wife in May 2008 at Seattle's ArtsWest. The work, which received a 2004 Pulitzer Prize and the Tony Award for Best Play of the Year that same year (among other prestigious honors), tells the tale of a soft-spoken German transvestite who survived the cruel regimes of both the Nazis and the Communists.

Robert Russel (DA ‘84-86)

Robert retired from dancing professionally in 2006, after performing with such companies as the Anna Wyman Dance Theatre, Hartford and Geneva Ballets, Sinopia Danse Ensemble, and Cathy Sharp Dance Ensemble. He is now teachng dance full-time in different schools throughout the French-speaking portion of Switzerland.
