Chris Blacker (MU ‘04)
In April 2008, Chris released his first full length album,
Out of Chaos, featuring eight original compositions, ranging from orchestral drama to driving jazz/rock, and includes his ASCAP award-winning composition, "Tidal." Joining Chris on the album are fellow Cornish alumni
Charlie Smith (MU '02),
Cody Rahn (MU '04), and
Jakob Breitbach (MU '03), as well as Cornish Music faculty member Hans Teuber.
Carol Thomas (DE ‘85)
Carol Thomas (DE '85) is Cultural Arts Manager with the City of Everett, overseeing Everett's Municipal Arts Collection, 1% for Arts projects, rotating sculpture exhibitions, community festivals, and summer Music in the Parks series.
Evan Gackstatter (MU ‘07)
Dr. G and the Funky Recovery, with Music alumni Evan, Tim Carey (MU '06), Makala Romero (MU '07), Bridgid Roney (MU '08), and former Cornish Music student Daniel Thomson, competed in the FameCast competition, which culminates in a battle of the bands in Austin, TX, and a record deal.
Traci Biegnwald (TH ‘07)
Traci starred in Eclectic Theater Company's presentation of Off-Broadway hit,
Matt & Ben, in March and April 2008. The skewed and skewering play - featuring women playing the roles of Matt Damon and Ben Afleck - highlights what really happened in the writing process of
Good Will Hunting and what the two best friends were like before fame.
Christina Webb (DE ‘01)
Christina is now working with the Exhibition Design Department at the J. Paul Getty Museum after freelancing in the Los Angeles area for four years. She has created work for The Heart Project, a non-profit arts organization, and Pointroll.com, a media-rich advertising firm with a focus on innovative technology.
