Alethea Adsitt (DA '97)
Alethea premiered Empty Room - a three-dimensional scrapbook of person and place combining original choreography, video, and text - in New York with her company, Alethea Adsitt & Co, and featured sound editing by Ashley Friend (DA '01). The piece was sponsored by the Performance Project @ University Settlement, a new program that presents a cross-section of emerging and established artists, "exploring the outer reaches of their art forms and intersections between media, while engaging in boundary-breaking interactions with diverse audiences."
