Jarrad Powell (MU ‘83)

Gamelan Pacifica, conducted by Cornish alumnus and faculty member Powell, performed with Javanese musician and composer Sutrisno Hartana in the Chapel Performance Space at Wallingford's Good Shepherd Center. The program of traditional and contemporary music from Java and the U.S. included Michelle Doiron (MU '98), Stephen Fandrich (MU '00), Jessica Kenney (MU '07), Jill Lambson-Nirk (MU '01), Stephen Parris (MU '02), and Adrienne Varner (MU '07).

Jean Behnke (AR ‘83)

Jean currently works at her studio on Lopez Island making installation-oriented sculpture, blockprints and drawings. She recently exhibited at the Hunt Gallery at Webster University in St. Louis, and curated a show at the Island Musem of Art in Friday Harbor.

Phil Sheeran (MU ‘85)

Phil, a Los Angeles-based jazz guitarist, released LIVE JAPAN, Alone Together with pianist Leon Bisquera, a live recording made while on tour in Tokyo. Phil is also a producer and composer for film and television, and has recently scored film trailers for Gone Baby Gone, Two for the Money, and Friday Night Lights.
