About Alumni Relations
Cornish alumni have been making an impact upon the arts communities in Seattle, the Pacific Northwest and far beyond ever since Nellie Cornish founded the school in 1914.
Through your work in the community, Cornish alumni represent what the Cornish experience produces and the vital role the institution plays in local, regional and national arts communities. Your continued engagement with each other and the broader community speaks to your experiences at Cornish – both through your work and through the many conversations you have with other active and aspiring artists and arts lovers.

Alumni Relations Committee
The Alumni Relations Committee is the steering group for the Office of Alumni Relations and acts as the liaison between the Office of Alumni Relations and the Board of Trustees.

Responsibilities
Committee members represent the interests of Cornish alumni to the college by doing the following:
- Serving as ambassadors to, and advocates for, Cornish alumni
- Developing a framework for Alumni Relations programming
- Assessing the efficacy of Alumni Relations programming
- Assisting with program implementation as appropriate
- Keeping the Board of Trustees informed about Alumni Relations programming
