We deeply appreciate your support of Cornish College of the Arts. The support of alumni, parents, members of the Cornish community, friends, and corporations and foundations is essential to our ability to provide an educational program of the highest quality. The Advancement Office is pleased to talk with you about how you would like to support Cornish. There are many ways you can make a gift to support Cornish.
Your unrestricted gift to the Cornish Annual Fund provides support for our core academic programs and gives the College the most flexibility to meet challenges and respond to opportunities.
You may wish to restrict your gift to a special purpose or designate a department or program. We will be happy to work with you to determine how you would like to direct your donation to support Cornish's most urgent needs and priorities. A restricted or designated gift may be made for current use, endowment or capital projects.
Building our scholarship funds is a top priority for Cornish. Because we are funded almost entirely by tuition, our ability to grant scholarships is severely limited. Gifts for scholarships can make a significant difference in our ability to attract and retain the most talented students.
Cornish welcomes scholarship gifts in any amount. Donors who establish a Named Endowment will receive an annual report describing the use of the funds and, in some cases, will have the opportunity to meet with the scholarship recipient. (See Recognition Opportunities and Campaign for Cornish for more details)
The faculty at Cornish are an incredible resource. They are gifted educators and working professional artist who contribute to the vitality of the college and the community. Your gift to support faculty ensures that we are able to attract and retain the highest caliber educator-artists. Our students deserve no less.
Gifts in any amount help Cornish realize its commitment to faculty excellence.

Cornish welcomes Gifts-in-Kind of tangible items and services which can enhance our academic programs or support college operations. Examples of gifts-in-kind are state-of-the-art hardware and software, pianos in excellent condition, books and CDs for the library, furniture and professional services. Please contact the Advancement office if you are interested in making an in-kind gift to Cornish.
Gifts for Current Use, whether unrestricted or directed to a specific department or purpose, are used within the current fiscal year.
Contributions to the Endowment Fund benefit current students and faculty and also create a lasting legacy of permanent support for Cornish. Endowment gifts are an investment in the college that will continue to support the college now and for generations to come.
Gifts for Capital Projects, such as the Campaign for Cornish, can also be made for current use or for endowment.
A donor may wish to create a Named Endowment Fund in honor of a loved one, a friend or teacher. You may choose to designate the proceeds for a scholarship, for departmental use or another purpose.
A Commemorative Gift provides an opportunity to establish a named gift in honor or in memory of a loved one, teacher, an organization or other individual. Commemorative gifts can be unrestricted or restricted, for current use or for endowment.
Donors who are employed by companies with Matching Gift programs can double, and even triple, the value of the gift. Matching gift information is usually available through your Human Resource department.
