Faculty Cornish Faculty are world-class working professional artists. They are actively involved in the Seattle Arts community and beyond. They are teachers, but because they are also working artists, they can serve as exceptional mentors. They can help you bridge your artistic career from that of a student to that of a fully engaged working artist.

Community At Cornish you’ll be surrounded by practicing artists 24/7. That’s what we’re all about. Faculty, students and even staff are all involved with the visual and performing arts. We are a community of working artists. We understand your passion for your art and we all work together to create an environment where you can succeed. We’re here for you.

Location Seattle is a great city to be a young emerging artist. Seattle’s thriving arts community can help fuel your creativity, exposing you to a wealth of new experiences. You’ll also find a culture that is hungry for new ideas and supports the work that Cornish students are producing. Our new campus is in the heart of downtown Seattle and in proximity to the entire arts community.

Voice Cornish places great emphasis on helping you find your own distinctive voice as an artist. We give you the fundamental tools and technique, but what you do with it is really up to you. We want you to graduate with your own vision in place; so the work you do while at Cornish is encouraged to be unique and individualized.
