Prospective Student Campus Visits

This visit experience will give prospective students the opportunity to learn more about our admission process, auditions/portfolio reviews, and financial aid. Students will also tour our campus and residence hall with a program-specific Admission Counselor.

Prospective Students

This event is designed for prospective high school juniors and transfer students.

This visit experience will give prospective students the opportunity to learn more about our Visual and Performing Art Programs, our admission and financial aid processes, and audition/portfolio review guidelines. Students will also tour our campus and residence hall with a program-specific Admission Counselor and/or current student.

Transfer Students

This event is designed for current college students who are looking to transfer to Cornish.

This visit experience will give you a chance to tour some of our studios and to find out more about our department programs. You will also have the opportunity to learn about our admission and financial aid processes. Be sure to bring a copy of your college transcript(s) for preliminary evaluation.

Explore Cornish

This event is designed for current high school and transfer applicants who wish to complete the portfolio review/audition requirement for admission to Cornish College of the Arts.

This extended visit experience will not only give you the opportunity to audition or have your portfolio reviewed, but will also give you the chance to hear straight from our esteemed faculty about your program of choice, attend a presentation on financial aid, receive a campus and residence hall tour from a program-specific Admission Counselor and/or current student, and even dine in Nellie's Cafe! Students who stay until Monday will be able to observe a class or participate in a workshop with faculty.

Taking Care of Business Day

​This event is for students who plan to enroll in Fall 2016. Taking Care of Business (and Having Some Fun) Day provides you with an opportunity to finalize details for the Fall semester. This includes turning in missing documents, individual appointments with various departments, group sessions to answer any last minute questions, and the chance to meet our staff and your new classmates! We have a number of fun activities throughout the day followed by a dinner boat cruise around Seattle's Lake Washington in the evening! (Each student is welcome to bring two guests. Although the student is free, there is a charge of $40 per guest.) You can schedule your events for the day by clicking on the date below. Please note that many of these tasks can be completed in advance online. Invitations for the dinner boat cruise will come in the mail. In order to RSVP and submit payment for your guests, you MUST return the RSVP card with a check or money order.
