Performance Production Department Admissions

A portfolio review is a required part of the Performance Production Department admissions process. Your portfolio will be reviewed by a faculty member who will gauge your potential for success in the Department. You are strongly encouraged to present your portfolio in person during a scheduled review on-campus. The review schedule is available from the Admissions Office or here online.

Portfolio Requirements

For many applicants, trying to figure out just what to send is a real hurdle. The following short guidelines for each concentration of Performance Production should help you decide on what to present. Please realize that we don't expect any one person to have experience in all of the concentrations, and that we understand that many of you will have very little relevant work you can show.

Portfolio by Mail

We strongly encourage you to have your interview and present your portfolio in person. It is to your benefit. However, if distance prevents a visit or the work is too large to be transported, you may submit documentation of your work by mail (see instructions below on How to Make Slides):

Admissions Office
Cornish College of the Arts
1000 Lenora Street
Seattle, WA 98121

If you wish to have your portfolio returned, please include a self-addressed, stamped envelope with sufficient postage. The Admissions Office will schedule a phone interview for you upon receiving your portfolio materials.
