New Student Checklist
Office of Admission
- Send $250 tuition deposit and Intent to Enroll form
Your tuition deposit is credited toward your tuition. - Send Final Transcript from your high school with graduation date and final GPA.
- Send Final College transcripts, if you were enrolled spring or summer term.
- Return RSVP (white) form to register for New Student Registration
- Return your Integrated Studies Preference Worksheet
Student Housing and Health
- Complete and submit the Housing and Meal Plan Contract by July 31 . For more information and forms, visit the Housing and Residence Life website: http://www.cornish.edu/housing/
- Send $300 housing security/damage deposit
Unpaid deposits will be added to students’ fall semester bill. Your deposit is fully refunded to you at the end of the academic year provided there are no room damage charges against it. - Complete Student Health and Immunization Forms (Parts A and B) This needs to be completed in order to move into the residence halls.
- Review Student Health Insurance Options
Financial Aid – After you receive your financial aid award letter
- Complete and send Acceptance of Loans form to Cornish Financial Aid Department
- Complete Student Stafford Master Promissory Note online
- Complete Parent PLUS Master Promissory Note(s) online
- Double check your bottom line to make sure you can cover your direct costs (tuition, fees, room and board) to Cornish – if you need more aid, you can increase your PLUS Loan Request to make up the difference. Financing a Cornish Education
- Sign up for the Cornish interest-free 10-payment plan at: http://tuitionpay.salliemae.com
Though not required, the payment plan is a convenient and helpful way of spreading out your costs over the academic year. - Register for the on-line student account program (OCAP).
OCAP allows you (and your parents) to view your account, make payments, and receive your refund if you have financial aid in excess of billed charges. After summer registration, your Cornish email account will be sent a login and password to register for OCAP.
Important note: All students must have their fall semester bill paid via direct payment, payment plan, and/or completed financial aid by August 27 in order to move into the residence halls and/or begin classes.
