Admission Counselor

Program responsible for: Music, Dance

Hometown: Fairfax, VA

School attended and degree earned: College of William & Mary, BA-Music; Florida State University, MM-Music Performance

Favorite thing about Cornish:

The dedication to producing working professional artists. It's critical to teach students how to survive as visual/performing artists in the "real world" and not enough schools support this mission; Cornish does and the results are impressive.

Most memorable experience in Seattle:

Meeting USWNT star Megan Rapinoe before a Seattle Reign FC game - she's super adorable and couldn't be sweeter. And in general, my daily amazement at the accurately-depicted differences between those living on the West Coast and those of us from the East Coast

Best place to eat in Seattle:

I live in Tacoma, so I'm going with a classic Tacoma combo - Red Hot and Ice Cream Social! Get a fancy hot dog (or vegan dog), beer and then head two doors down for the best ice cream outside of Portland.

Tips for applicants:

Be yourself and trust your gut - everything will work out, no matter what the end result may appear to be.
