Application Checklist
All applicants will need to provide the following in order to complete their Application for Admission. Please print this checklist for future reference. Online applicants will receive a confirmation and checklist when their online application is complete:
- Cornish Application for Admission – paper or online.
- $35 Non-Refundable Application Fee. Information about Fee Waivers is available here.
- Official High School Transript(s) or GED score report. Transcripts should be mailed to us directly from the school(s). Download and print a Transcript Request Form which you can give to your school. It has all the instructions they will need to send the transcript to us.
- Official College/University Transcript(s) required if you have completed any college or university courses. Download and print a Transcript Request Form which you can give to your school. It has all the instructions they will need to send the transcript to us.
- SAT/ACT/TOEFL scores, if taken (Cornish College of the Arts code for SAT is 0058, for ACT it is 4501, for TOEFL it is 4801).
- Personal statement
- Essay
- International Students will need information from their immigration, citizenship documents, and/or their passport.
- A credit card, debit card or checking account to pay the application fee online through secure payment server. Applicants who do not have access to one of these methods of payment should call an Admission Counselor for instructions.

Additional Information
All prospective students wishing to pursue a degree at Cornish must have graduated from high school or have passed the General Education Development (GED) Test.
Home schooled students are evaluated on a case-by-case basis. Home schooled students will be asked to provide all available documents verifying their completion of a high school education.

Fee Waivers
Fee Waivers are available to students for which the $35.00 Application Fee poses a hardship. Contact an Admission Counselor for more information. The Online Application has a Fee Waiver Request form linked to the fee payment page at the end of the application.
