University of Washington Borrowing Privileges
- All libraries are open to the public, however you need a UW library card to borrow materials.
- Cornish students: To qualify for a library card you can join the Friends of the UW Libraries at the Scholar level which costs $100 per year.
- Cornish faculty: Faculty of four-year colleges and universities qualify for a library card at the fee of $85 per year or $25 for three months; current faculty ID required. For more information, view Borrowing Information for Visitors.
- UW alumni: If you are a graduate of the UW, joining the UW Alumni Association is the easiest, least expensive way to get a library card.
