Inclusivity & Diversity Committee

The Inclusivity & Diversity Committee (IDC) is an advisory committee of the President and serves as an important component of the college’s shared governance. Faculty, staff, and students serve on the IDC. Mission Statement

The Inclusion and Diversity Committee ensures that the college provides an inclusive culture where all in the Cornish community can work, teach, and learn in a supportive environment. The committee realizes this mission by:

  1. Promoting greater empathy and awareness in the college through inclusive learning and teaching practices.
  2. Influencing College policy.
  3. Fostering courageous dialog.
  4. Hosting, promoting, or contributing to events that add to our mission statement.
